The Evangelism & Bible Study Group
The Evangelism Committee was first established in February 1997 as part of the proposals for the celebration of the 170th anniversary of the Church of St. Mary.
The focus of the group was:
The mission of the Church
The presentation of the Church’s witness in the immediate community-minded bodies
The proposal of developmental programmes
The group seeks to develop and strengthen knowledge and faith through prayer and bible study. It’s members participate in outreach/ open-air services and make visits to communities surrounding the Church. Additionally, witness visits are made to shut-in members of the congregation and to senior citizens homes.
